Backs: Scotland, Goddard, Enright, Birchall, Broughton, Ellis, Bugg (Clarke, Darley)
Mids: Boyd, Selwood, Ablett, Deledio, Shiel, Magner (Pfeiffer, Neale)
Rucks: Mumford, Giles (Redden, Stephenson)
Fwds: Franklin, Goodes, Fyfe, Martin, Dangerfield, D.Smith, Cameron (A.Kennedy, A.Hall)

I have Deledio in Mids for DPP to Backs.
I have Pfeiffer in Mids for DPP to Fwds.

What are peoples thoughts/comments ?

Strong team mate .... Scotland with court case coming up is a bit of a worry.
Enright has had zero preseason ... but is flying with the team for round 1 ... may be vested if they are winning easy.

Colliwobblers

agree with mpollock's comments, also scotland gives you 3 round 13 bye defenders in the backline plus your dpp LIDS in the middle.

Shaw over enright every day of the week forget the suspension and stupid stuff he was promoted to the leadership group and he has responded really well to the responsibility.

Make sure your rooks are all named for round 1 games.

Good luck nice team.

Hey Mozza, how much $$ do you have left over?

Nice strong forward line and backline. Interesteing that you've forgone any of the underpriced defenders.

For the reasons Colli mentioned, I'd go Shaw over Enright ATM.

Also, your team will be short a premium in Round 13. I would DEFINITELY change this. Personally, I wouldn't worry about having DPP links this year as there is a new trading rule which lets you swap DPP players in your team between lines.

Maybe move Deledio into the backs for Birchall and use that money for a fourth midfielder. If you need more money then I'd also get rid of 5fer. He will score poorly and will be at the @rse end of Port's best 22 most weeks. You can always swap Smith or Kennedy (who will be better DTers than Dazzler) into the mids later.

And I repeat:
DPP link is overrated.
a) DPP trade will be much more useful
b) What's the point of having one player covered for (most likely) one of the bye rounds, where you could be making an extra 10-30 points per round with a true mid elite (It's not quite so bad with a rook)?

So definitely move Lids into your backs for Scotland. 5fa could probably stay. And try to get Pendles in there, or Swan if you can.

If you are going the 1/3 ruck strategy, I would DEFINITELY put in Cox. If you have someone who is averaging under 100 you are weakening yourself too much... of course, it's a bit late for that now...

All, appreciate your comments.
I have been thinking about the DPP, and reading peoples thoughts on it, and I think I will endeavour to move Lids back into the backline, and replace him with one of Mitchell / Thompson / Pendles. I haven't even looked to see who I can afford. I have.  What are peoples thoughts on these 3?
With the current team I have $29,400 spare. I will have see what I can do.
The round 13 bye is my other concern, and am working on a solution for that so, hopefully can have something in place before the full lockout.
Like Everyone else, I was tossing up about having Cox instead of Mumford, but chose Mummy as he is cheaper and enabled me to do more with the rest of my team. At the end of the day I will look to have Cox and Mummy (if playing well) by seasons end.
Ill make some amendments and re-post for peoples thoughts again.
