(last week ... Parker/Hale out ... Stanton/Milera in ... )
My side if i trade Broughton/Shiel out for Mohr/Kennedy(syd) in this week is:

Def: Goddard, Deledio, Malceski, M.Clarke, Mohr, Bugg, Morris (B.Ellis, Townsend)
Mid: Pendles, Ablett, Boyd, Stanton, J Kennedy, Magner (D.Smith , McDonald)
Ruc: Mumford, Giles (Redden, Stephenson)
Fwd: Franklin, Fyfe, Pavlich, Goodes, Chapman, Milera, Kennedy (Hall, Dickson)

Happy to have used 4 trades early and have a lot of rookies in the back line ...
Mohr/Ellis/Bugg/Morris/Townsend/M.Clarke will all go up in value over the next few weeks and then in comes Doughty and ungrading one to a premium.

Let face it ... no much consistency in the backs outside of Goddard and Deledio today ... unless you want to gamble on Dempsey etc who may crash after a good start .. better to role the dice with the rookie backs i reckon ...

McDonald will alse some cash and D.Smith is a perfect trade for Zorko in a few weeks ... Kennedy and Milera are also money spinners ...

Burn the trades and get the best rookies you can ... load up on the in form premium breakouts like Stanton and J.Kennedy while they are still affordable.

All or nothing ...  ;D

This is my strategy:

2 fix up trades (round 3)
about 2 LTI trades (u can't tell when or how many)
8 upgrades and 8 downgrades (hopefully, although i might not have enough trades or cash) from about round 5 to round 15.
4 finals trades

Im not worrying bout the bye rounds ATM. I don't think they should influence my choices too much.

If you are going for overall then the bye rounds are very important ... firstly you need to right structure going into the byes and then you need to sideways trade your premiums to get a jump on the leaders ... unless you are already right up there overall of course.

Seems to break all the rules of trading but image how much you could catch the leaders who keep all their premiums and play rookies or cop 0's!!  :)

I am thinking 7-9 trades for these three rounds.  By round 14 I want only 5 trades left and my team set!

How is this possible with only 2 trades allowed per round?? - ie. maximum of 6!

still not really getting this trade strategy! I started with Otten, Mackay, P.Davis, no Magner, no A.Kennedy. and have been trading to fix these problems, now I think I'm getting towards the team I wan't. just got Barlow, Treloar, hoping to get chappy, sidey in the next few weeks and sitting around 5-10, 000 and going ok. been lucky cos only injury has been Ablett just now, even considering a silly trade to Swan or Ziebell, I might be using a lot of trades but with 8 or so rookie upgrades and a little luck with injury! what do I really need to keep trades for???
