Hey all. Ive changed my strategy yet again.
Gone to a 4 prem 2 rookie starting midfield. Ive got $540k to spend.
Is Danny Cross at 519k worth the gamble or should i drop to Hayes and bank some extra cash?
Thoughts?

Cross is a really good unique pick who under the dogs new playing style could score very well like he has his entire career

Yeah, im thinking the same. I had him all of last year, although last year wasnt his best with point scoring.
Im hoping he can go back to his 2010 form of being a top 10 scorer. Havent seen many teams with him, so yeah your right, could b a really good unique.
Cheers

I had Crossy in 2010 and he was a gun. Boyd has probably overtaken him now, but if he isn't playing as a tagger this year he should be able to find some great form.

I think Cross is in store for a big year point wise. Ive heard his had a top pre season. Any Doggies supporters out there that can back me up?

i definitely think he will be given some more freedom now.  to say that he will end up in the top 6 or 10 might be a bridge too far for me.  really, i think you need to aim to have who you think will be the best 6 mids and not be too compromising

even still, i wouldnt call this move crazy, i can see some scope for cross getting back to high sc score football

Extra 5k from somewhere gets you Cotchin? Though I also like Cross as an M4 option this year!

I think I remember the coach was quoted as saying Cross wont be playing a tagging role - but I'm not sure where sorry.
I've currently got Griffen in my mids as a unique - hoping the finger injury is only minor.
