Been having a lot of trouble figuring out which one of these guns i want Tom Rockliff or Jack Redden.

Rockliff
Pros
~ Averaged 124 in the final 12 rounds of the season.
~ Pick 5 in the 2008 Draft.
~ Averaged 114 in the Nab Cup playing 2 games.
~ Averaged 1.365 points per minutes in the Nab Cup.
~ Proven performer.

Cons
~ Droped below 100 5 times.
~ Is the 10th most expensive player in supercoach.
~ Will he get noticed more by opposition teams.

Redden
Pros
~ Pick 25 in the 2008 Draft.
~ 13 scores above 100.
~ Averaged 100 in the pre season playing 3 games.
~ Averaged 1.124 points per minutes in the Nab Cup.
~ Should take his game to a new level this season.
~ Tackling machine
~ Bit cheaper.

Cons
~ 9 scores below 100.
~ Can be inconsitent at times.
~ Can he peform 100+ every week to be a keeper?

MC

I like Redden, but think Rockliff will be more consistent and reliable this year.

Scalabrine

They were both second year players last year and in my opinion they will both take it up another step again this year :) but Rockliff for me but Redden is a good unique for that price!

Noz

Techincally they were third year players with both playing 1 (Rockliff) and 8 (Redden) in their first year.

I reckon Redden will win the brownlow in 3-4 years.

meow meow

Redden won't win the Brownlow until he learns how to kick properly.

Rocky, no contest.

Noz

Took Watson 9 years to learn to kick properly and now his kicking is decent and in brownlow contention hopefully Redden can learn a lot faster.

Shiftynev

I like Redden - a bit cheaper and a good pod.

Rocky dropping below 100 five times seems more of a Pro to me. That's still damn consistent.

I'd go Rockliff.

Noz just a clarification on your notes on Rocky He was overlooked in the 2008 draft and taken with our fifth and last pick in the December pre season draft of 2008,  What an overlook by clubs in the 2008 draft but hindsight is wonderful.

Reddan was taken as our second pick in the 2008 Draft which was 25th overall. So in the opinion of our recruiters Reddan was the better prospect in 2008.

Personally I can see Reddan continuing to improve but can Rocky maintain last years out put. See both averaging around 105 this year. Depending on your cash needs would go Reddan at $60k cheaper.

I think save the cash as they will both end up averages around the same at the end of the year.
