Can someone please convince me taking Rockliff at 554,200 is the best move. I got a good vibe (the same one that gifted me Swallow in 2010) early in the preseason, but with Ablett, Mitchell,  Thompson and Murphy at more or less the same price I am losing my nerve. I have Pendelbury, Selwood, Rockliff and Barlow as what I consider premiums.

I'd be more worried about Bartel than Rockliff. ;)

bartel? if you mean barlow then yeah concern appreciated. as a freo man i have a quota to fill and if barlow can keep himself in one piece this year i can handle him.

Chelskiman

Yeah, I meant Barlow, haha.  I had him early but I now don't trust him.  If you trust him then good for you!  As for Rocky, he will kill it this year, and I'm saying this as a guy who doesn't even have him in my team.

Kill it more so than mitchell and murphy? my finger is hovering over the trade icon

Mitchell is old, and whilst he is a gun he most likely won't improve on last year's average.  Murphy is a beast, but can get shut down a bit when heavily tagged.  Rockliff just racks up possessions at will, almost Swan like, so if I was going to choose one player out of those three then I'd go  Rocky easily.

Yes, Redden could well prove to be a better pick than Rocky.
