More loopy than a bowl of fruit loops but i am actaully considering a backline with three to five Tigers.

Thats right I am certafiably insane and to top it off I may round it our with two fallen dogs. Somebody stop me!!!!

I am considering the following backline

GOD, Heater, Delidio, connors, webberly, Lake, Hargraves,  ellis, morris,

My reasoning is they are all dead cheap and despite being a part of woeful teams they might actually do alright enough to rack up the coin and trade out before rnd 13 bye. Would be able to stack the forwards with premiums and DPP.

Value seems to be in the mid rookies and forwards and less so in back rookies. Also likely that only one of them each week could have the vest.

Oh and throw in Conca as another option.

Mind you it will be painful to sit here each week hoping that Richmond does well. It is so nice of them to permanently occupy a bottom eight position so that the other teams can have a go at finals. Nice lot those tigers.

The tiges will come good, not great but good, and if they arent doing great as long as the opponents miss enough shots on goal the tiges backline will be fantasy gold, just need to take a leaf out of the hawks possession footy off the backline and they will be GOLD

I gave cut down on them in my backs but LIDS / CONCA /ELLIS are all locks, Morris will need to step up to get a spot as he is a run with player so if any better playmaking def rooks stand up Morris isn't going to make the final cut.

Add Goddard to the mix and round 13 in defence is awkward, but we won't be alone in that situation

Not sure about connors, he could be a smoky pick and a good one, but seen a bit of interest in Houli too and there is always a lot of love for newman especiall or only in SC tho i suppose

Just remember the 3300 rule, Only so many points available for each game. You may be missing out on points with that stategy IMO

I rearranged my team and was feeling quite pleased with my new selections until I realised I had 4 tigers in the backline! I quickly amended the situation. I can still see a good argument for 3 but any more and you're either a very brave or very stupid coach. Time will tell.

yup, he is a great unique option in defesne. i had him 3 years running prior to last year (only took deledio to avoid the headache of byes last year). really reliable down back and capable of 130+ every now and then.
