is this going too far in defense?

considering selecting malceski, lake and golby in defense (to go with deledio and goddard)

was only going to go with malceski and golby/lake, but putting the 3rd one in there at the expense of another premium allows me to put in a forward line of;

franklin, goodes, fyfe, chapman and martin.

i guess, what i am saying is, chapman + lake/golby vs dangerfield + broughton.

although i'm not one for jumping the gun on trading out players early. but one of lake/golby is kind of an 'insurance' in a way if malceski's knee doesn't hold up and/or golby or lake spud it up.

what are your thoughts?

I'd only go Lake and Malceski. Both proven premiums in the past. Golby is just too big a risk for me. Dangerfield has a better chance of becoming a premium so I'd go with him and Broughton.
