15 potential premiums?

okay so I have my team now as

Backs: Goddard, Deledio, Shaw, Broughton, Adcock, Ellis, Bugg (Yagmoor, Townsend)
Mids: Pendles, Ablett, Rockliff, Ledger, Clay Smith, Magner (Shiel, Kerridge)
Rucks: Cox, Redden (Giles, Big O)
Forwards: Buddy, Goodes, Fyfe, Martin, Danger, Devon Smith, Smedts (Kennedy, Dickson)

I had this team and i was really happy with it however I Started thinking about possible money savers and thought about the more expensive players in my team and how the point scoring would be changed if i went with a cheaper premium player. So my first idea was to change Goddard for Fisher and Deledio for Newman, both of who I wanted in my final team anyway. But now have and will wait and see if prices drop

So after some tweaking and cash saving I have 2 possible teams, one with a M4 and another with 2 rucks

NUMBER 1
Backs: Shaw, Newman, Fisher, Broughton, Adcock, Ellis, Bugg (Yagmoor, Townsend)
Mids: Ablett, Boyd, Rockliff, Cotchin, Ledger, Magner (Smith, Kerridge)
Rucks: Luey, Redden (Giles, Big O)
Forwards: Buddy, Goodes, Martin, Zaha, Danger, Smith, Smedts (Kennedy, Dickson)

NUMBER 2
Backs: Shaw, Newman, Fisher, Broughton, Adcock, Ellis, Bugg (Yagmoor, Townsend)
Mids: Ablett, Boyd, Rockliff, Smith, Ledger, Magner (Shiel, Kerridge)
Rucks: Luey, Jacobs (Giles, Redden)
Forwards: Buddy, Goodes, Martin, Zaha, Danger, Smith, Smedts (Kennedy, Dickson)

So which of these 3 teams looks best?

I love a theory.

I agree with Deledio as a target once his price drops. I also agree Newman will be a keeper. Buy low sell high. Yes to that.

No to Goddard. He is a must.

No to Pendles as he will drop a la Delidio. So good there.

Keep your big Cox in your team. He is so good that you need him at some stage and early too. If you want to see what happens and get him later, don't get 2 premiums as you'll have to burn a trade to get  him in later.

I think you can save on Lids and Pendles but would keep Goddard and maybe Cox.

Goddard / Ablett / Cox / Buddy - must haves.

yeah i was thinking that goddard should be kept and I can upgrade to cox though, because getting luey instead of him is saving me 110k which is critical in upgrading to cotchin

and there is a method for me getting cotchin

Due to us getting more trades this year I want to get a D8 M7 and F8 who are premium players but can give me cover incase of the damn general taking over

So my end of year team is hoping to be

Goddard, Deledio, Shaw, Newman, Fisher, Scotland, Broughton (Adcock, Rookie)
Pendles, Ablett, Murphy, Boyd, Rockliff, Swan (Cotchin, Rookie)
Cox, Luey (Rookie, Rookie)
Buddy, Fyfe, Pav, Stevie J, Danger, Martin, Goodes (Zaha, Rookie)

So when im saving money to get a keeper in my team like cotchin it makes it okay to miss cox for now right?

Wow. Lots of chopping and changing. Most of us on this site just select one team and stick to it. Never mind.

Goddard seems to be missing now. Warning you now about this. Lock him in now.

NRoo - nope. Have you considered say Sidebottom for him and save $20K? That's half the difference b/t Goddard and Fisher.

4 mids premiums makes you rucks and forwards a bit sketchy.

Also Roo shares bye with Buddy and Dusty.

Byes don't bother me cause leagues don't bother me I try to score as much as I can
And every player has a bye at one stage in the year so I'm happy with that

Don't be to quick to write of roo though, he is an out and out champion of the game and will average well this year
Also my rucks will be the first thing to be upgraded but I think redden can shoulder the load now before the season begins to take its toll

And I want to get Goddard so I might have to do a bit more cost cutting
Maybe get Gibson in mids if he gets elevated
