I am pretty much set on my Rucks and Forwards, but i am still battling to decide on my mids and defenders.

I realise my mids are pretty weak, but my opinion is that there is more money to be made from the midfield rookies than the defender rookies.

Therefore, my main question is should i stick with this line up or replace one of my premium defenders (Birch, Broughts) with a rookie and spend that money on a premium midfielder?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

You're half way there.

Forwards could be a bit stronger with a safer F4. Maybe Chappy, Boomer, Goodes could get there instead of Gray who plays for a team called Port Adelaide.

Rucks - yep.

I think your main concern is the oversupply of mid risky awkwardly priced defenders - 3. One is usually enough.

You'll free up heaps of cash by losing 2 of Waters / Lake / Hargrave.

You'll be able to improve other lines and I reckon you've got to spend most of your $10Mil to get a really competitive team.
