Mind due. This was before the players had been announced.

Still doesn`t matter Waters was obviously going to be named and Lake obviously wasn`t.

I made one on here from the 40 man squad
http://www.afl.com.au/NewsViews/MajorEvents/AllAustralian/tabid/863/Default.aspx#

anyway, I've come up with this
FB: Glass, Mcpharlin, Richards
HB: Waters, Birchall, Dempster
M: Watson, Kennedy, Pendlebury
HF: Pavlich, Jetta, Franklin
FF: Hawkins, Milne, Walker,
Fol: Cox, Ablett, Swan
Bench: Naitanui, Beams, Cotchin, Betts

obviously can't fit everyone in :/ I really do think nic nat deserves a spot, and valk is just being a one eyes freo supporter :P

Unlucky to miss out: Jacobs, J Riewoldt, Mitchell, Petrie, Deledio, Maric

I haven't looked at anyone elses, but I would think that midfield and fol would be close to undisputable, same with the forward line, despite being a bit top heavy, I really think all those players deserve to be there. Valk- not everything can be proved on stats- Nic Nats value was clearly rated when the AFL coaches voted for out of every player in the comp they could have, and he came (2nd? 3rd? can't remember, it was him, ablett and buddy top 3 though).

FB: Glass, Mcpharlin, Richards
HB: Waters, Birchall, Dempster
M: Watson, Kennedy, Pendlebury
HF: ThompsonPavlich, JettaDangerfield, Franklin
FF: Hawkins, Milne, Walker Rioli,
Fol: Cox, Ablett, Swan
Bench: Naitanui, Beams, Cotchin, BettsDeledio

CBF rotating positions around. Nailed the backline, and the mids, and the rucks :P Betts was left field and lids probs should have been in there always... tbh I'm pretty happy with that effort though- imo pavlich definitely should have made it though :/

Pavlich was a huge out (I'd replace Swan for Pav), but I don't actually mind the 2012 team.

Justin Bieber

I would prefer pav in, replaced nic nat and cox ruck.

Thoughts?

BB67th

Think Pav should've taken FF leaving Hawkins as the third tall down there. Then have Jacobs in the ruck and maybe Cox on the bench where he can come on around the ground where he can have a lot of impact and leave the real hitout work to Jacobs. I like Dempster being picked as well, finally gets some recognition for a great year of football.

Tominator

Dempster over Brent Reilly? I'm very surprised by that

But what gobsmacks me more is how Pavlich and Sam Jacobs missed out - yes Cox and NicNat have both had great years but Jacobs has been the best RUCK in the league all season, and Pavlich has been the best forward for most of the latter part of the year, much better than Cox has over the entire year.

Cox or NicNat should've been put on the bench with Jacobs in 1st Ruck and Pavlich in the forward pocket and maybe one of Pendles/Swan/Deledio missing the cut, then I would have less of an issue with that

I may sound biased but McPharlin has to be ahead of Rance for CHB.

Rd 1: JPod - 2
Rd 2: Sam Reid - 3
Rd 3: J Brown - 0
Rd 4: NRoo - 1
Rd 5: A Walker - 2
Rd 6: Sam Day - 1
Rd 7: J Westhoff - 1
Rd 8: Buddy - 1
Rd 9: J Darling - 2 (1 as he played on around Dawson)
Rd 10: T Walker - 4 (2 from free kicks from other players late in 4th quarter)
Rd 11: J Roo - 1

Rance just had 6 kicked on him by Pav - who most people say is past his best ;)

You could argue the exact same for Ted Richards though.

Round 1: 0
Round 2: 1
Round 3: 2
round 4: 1
round 5: 0 (franklin)
round 6: 5 (his worst performance so far against the impressive Taylor Walker)
round 7: 2
round 8: 0
round 9: 2
round 10: 0
round 11: 0

Not to toot my own horn but....... :)

Tominator

it would have been hell awkward for the AA Selectors if Mitchell got the Brownlow last night
