Comment from Burton on the Lions recovery session

"Another player who resumed after a lengthy lay-off last weekend was off-season recruit Dayne Zorko, who starred in the Lions Reserves’ 81-point thrashing of Morningside.

“Zorks went really well, he played three quarters of the game and got plenty of it,” Burton said.

“He pulled up pretty well, but it’s obviously his first game for a long time so he’ll be a little bit sore. It usually takes the guys 2-3 weeks of playing games before they find their feet and feel like they’re running on top of the ground again.”

“We’ll look to get him a full game this week and continue to progress his loads.”

Looks promising for Zorko in 2/3 weeks. As I said in a previous post looks a little underdone and this confirms it although his output put for three quarters of a game was great.

Does this mean Crisp won't be a good pickup now for SC/DT? If Zorkos back in 3 weeks then surely Crisp makes way? Or is Crisp a potential gun? Haven't seen him play.

Zorko is named for this week  :)

Looked good too. Definitely coming into my side pre-byes for Shiel!

Just bear in mind he also has Round 11 bye.

Yeah but that'll be countered by the fact it opens up dpp with my midfield :)
