Why not both?  You then have the option of using one as a cash cow (e.g. Hargrave) and one as a keeper (e.g. an in-form Lake)

interesting. i'm thinking of doing a similar thing, but with malceski and one of lake / hargrave. one can be a cash cow one can be a keeper. a bit of a gamble, but hope it pays off
