Ex-collingwood player, malthouse rated him highly but unfortunately wasnt good enough to get many games in starting 22 at pies, new club, matured body and potentially a steal at his price, whats his JS like? can he keep up good nab form. Port lack maturity in middle. thoughts?

Spent all of 5 minutes in my team today. Also kinda keen.

scored 64 in a half!!!
very tempting for #5 MID, however, Masten is currently sitting there! but definitely on my radar - keep him on the DL though

Pendles, Boyd, Ablett, Watson, Masten, Miles (Neale, Magner)

McCarthy will get more opportunities at port than he did being at the fringes at collingwood.

McCarthy is definitely one to consider if you can fit him in your team structure.

been considering for a while, not taking a risk on a mid priced midfielder again after Liam Anthony and Chris Masten burned the flower out of me in the past two years, hargrave's my only mid pricer. Still a solid choice, should of made an option for maybe

Windigo

I was surprised when the Pies axed him. Thought he could make a good player.

Probably didn't have enough tatts to get a gig.  :P

He'll get points and play games. I reckon I'll fit him into my team. ;)

Has been prolific scorer this pre season and he would be on par with masten to get him in my team if i could fit him. But that would mean downgrading one of my elite mids, which i cant see myself doing.

ATM he has to beat out Caddy, Lucas, Ebert or Hogan for that coveted M5 position. Or Miles.

Structurally, I don't like non-keepers with a Round 11 bye. Any other season, perhaps.

Masten would be best option under 300k, then McCarthy, followed by Caddy
