Giles' performance tonight?

I know he did start with the green vest and that's why he only scored 10 but i heard he didn't play to well, is this true? Time to possibly reconsider starting him on the field??

definatly would not be starting him on the field... bench probably (but not certain).

ther are other cheap rucks who have shown some impressive performances in the preseason

think about last year, No body built a team last year with Zac  Smith starting, so i wouldnt do it this year wiht Giles, Big O or Redden.

I know Smith did do well and got scores over 100 a couple of times, but i believehe should start on your bench IF you go with him

I started w/ Cox, Vickery, Smith and some other random. Vickery was red hot and planned to turn him into Petrie round 4... that failed and some how I ended up w/ Smith as my 2nd ruck along w/ Petrie in the forwards end of season lol

There isn't a right way or a wrong way to construct a DT.  If there was, there wouldn't be a competition because everyone would have the same team.

Giles is a starting option as long as he can be selected in the #1 slot or #2 slot in the Ruck Category.




That being said, I would prefer to start H-Mac if I wanted to use a cheaper ruck option.

he cleaned up in the last 2 rounds, so 1 'bad' performance where he only came on in the 4th qtr isn't really a big deal.
with redden having a great pre-season its made me even more confident in going with the 3 rookies rucks, although i must admit, the big O has been underwhelming.

I'm happy with Giles numbers after coming on in the 4th qtr. I'm still going with him as my 2nd ruck. Reddens performance in recent weeks helps that decision.
