Hi people,

Clancee Pearce vs Andrew Gaff vs Chris Masten.

All have done ok so far this preseason and are around that $330k price tag but who will play consistently, make the most money and average the highest by seasons end?

Masten will up his average easy

I had literally just put masten in my team then i read this post. He has had an incredibly consistent nab cup. Played some great games towards the end of last year including a 183 super coach score. I think its his time. Put him in and watch his price sore then trade him for a premium

How about this for some stats. He was the sub 6 times last year and got subbed off 2 times. So 8 games last year out of 13 he played no more than a half. After a lot more experience and a great preseason he is not going to get the vest and so will easily average 85-90. He is a lock.

I'd only put 300k players in a side if your having them to "keep".

Masten of those 3...Thanks for the stats Rowan. Certainly food for thought about Masten. I'm now considering him as a 4th mid...funnily enough at Swan's expense with the intention of upgrading someone to him later as he tend's to dip well into the 500-600k range at some point. Masten could potentially be a keeper, his last 2 games in 2011 were first class.
Before others shoot this idea in flames I'll just add that the extra cash from Swan to Masten means an upgrade of Jono Brown (probably necessary) to Fyfe and cash to tinker with elsewhere.

personally i think masten is one of two things. 1: too expensive to have as a cashcow/upgrade player. 2: too risky/low scoring to have as a midfiled keeper. come end of season you want ur 6 mids averaging over 110, i dont think he can do it.

thanks for the replies

seems masten is the flavour between these 3 guys. don't know if his in the best 22 though is he? definately wouldn't pick him if his vest material.

with my team atm i don't enough money to upgrade M4 to a prem and scared my mids are too weak if i have 3 prem 3 rookie structure and is why i am looking at somebody around the $300k mark.
