Hey all. I think im close to what im after. Got 40k banked. Still unsure of rookie makeup, will change according to teams named. Ive opted for the 3 premium, 3 rookie set up after some long decisions.

As i said, still undecided on rookies. Looking closely at getting Stevie J in forward line, Hargrave for Dempsey or Lake? thinking bout Porpus and Delidio also. Is the midfield too thin?

Hi.

Not bad but

1. Pick either / or Lake / Dempsey
2. L Brown may not get a game early. Could get him later.
3. R13 bye donut in defence. Almost unavoidable.
4. Shiel may not get a game initially as had surgery in pre-season.
5. McDonald may not score that well.
6. Could look at Clifton, C Smith or even Coniglio but he's $$.
7. HMc will have to fight Goldy and Petrie for time and points. Mid priced R2 will need to be upgraded at some stage so may as well start with a rookie or 2 guns.
8.Like this forward line but Smedts may have trouble with JS.

Lids later when his price drops.
Dempsey or Lake for me over Hargrave
Porps a good gamble too.

As soon as GWS team is named this week, ill change their rookies accordingly. ill proll go Bugg for Brown.
I dont mind your idea about dropping Haimish for a rookie ruck, and using that money to get a 4th premium midfielder. Ive had Haimish since day one though, and i dont like to go against my gut. Ill still need a bit more cash though. Is my forward line too top heavy? should i free up cash in it?
Im assuming your saying to swap Lake or Dempsey for a rookie and free up over 100k?

Backs: Would downgrade Dempsey/Lake to a rookie, say Darley free up some cash

Mids: Sheil may be a good downgrade target afew rounds in, find another rookie to start

Rucks: maybe use extra cash to upgrade Mac, he wont score highly IMO

Fwd: Great FWD line
