He NEVER does well in the Nab cup

NEVER. He's cracked the 100 like once.

Last year he was scoring 70s in the Nab and averaged like 135 in the first 5 rounds

He is not the only one, lets be honest looks at pendles scores and thomos scores from the same game = shower.

Only the clubs and players that need to perform do, the bombers couldn't afford to mess around after last week so - the big two ton it up.

The cats well selwood didnt exactly perform to his best either - servicable effort, mitchel didnt even play and when he does im betting he wont be going at 100% either same for the blues mid elite likely they'll take a step back and let the likes of lucas and curnow have the major roles like the crows did with sloane and dangerfield.

You just cant read much into the nab cup setups, except for the odd exception the clubs are giving youngsters the major roles and trying different things and different players in different positions.
