before the nab cup started, everyone was saying that clarke was going to be a lock since he was taking over leon davis' role, HBF. Looking on the nab cup it looks as though yagmoor looks like the man to fill that position. i was just wondering if they are just trying out youngsters, or getting him ready for a year in that position.

I would hope that Clarke is further up the order than Yagmoor at the moment.

The injury of Krakeuor might just be able to fit both.

Collingwood were missing a lot of good players in the Nab, it showed  :P

I wouldnt be pinning all my hopes on Clarke. I think he will start the year in the VFL. He's had 2 years away from a game that he was only just starting to learn in the first place. IMO he isn't in Collingwoods best 22 yet

Jukes

Had Clarke for a while back there, but have since traded him out. Has about the same JS and scoring potential as an Morris or Darley for 40k more.

yorgis

heard that clarke was playing gaelic footy while overseas

Yagmoor looks the more likely prospect for round 1 imo.

yeah if i had to pick a pie rook out of the two it would be yagmoor (when he actually plays) Have dropped Clark myself and won't be starting either better options from the giants and tigers and smedts mabe plus a couple of others if they get named for round 1.

Artax

Smedts really has not shown alot though ?

it will be interesting if pies dont play clarke that much though, we all know what collingwood did just to get him

There is no doubt he has talent but he's on the list for more then this year. Plenty of time for him to come good. I keep saying it, but he hasn't played a game of aussie rules at any level for over 2 years. Collingwood doesn't expect him to miraculously come back from Ireland and set the world on fire.
