The "CASHCOW BYE RETHINK" thread

Most people seems to be going the precise 8/11/11 FROM ROUND 1 for the byes WHICH AREN'T UNTIL ROUND 11. :o It doesn't seem to take into account cash cow trades before round 11...
Most cash cows would reach their peak value before round 11, so surely some/at lot of the $cow trading would be pre Round 11, to maximise scoring. That means that we don't need the precise 8/11/11 until Round 11--just something vaguely around that.

In fact, assuming people have a 3-7 GWS rookies, most of which are cash cows, it would make sense to start the season with more like 6/9/15. If you had, say 5 GWS you could cash them in rounds 8-10 and get +2/+2/+1.

Now some people would argue that they wont do any $cow trading until round 11, which is fair enough, but the longer we wait after the time the $cows peak, the more points we are missing out on, so surely some would be cashed in earlier?...  7/10/13??

Premiums need to be sorted now, cos we wont play with them much hopefully, but cashcows...

your spot on be at somewhere around 8-11-11 at round 10, doesnt have to be that makeup but there are tons of threads on bye strategy that explain it all, but you start with a "loose" plan to get to somewhere around that structure come round 11.

For now I am just focusing on when the Prems in my team are out, and who do I think I will have in come the byes. I am low on Rd 11 Prem byes for now, with a view to them being the first traded in ( Based on my original team I'm not going to miss them Round 11, and they will hopefully offset the Prem losses in Rd 12,13..

It's a theory and I'm sticking by it!  :)
