this may sound like a stupid question but if a player is on a rookie list, are they limited to the number of games they are allowed to play each season??? what are the restrictions of a rookie???

no restrictions that i know of except the rules at the end of the season, they have to be promoted permanantly to main list or delisted or back to the rookie list (2 yrs max)

but a club can only have them on thier rookie list for 2 years then they are GONE- to the draft or traded i guess
