Looks to be playing mids this year. played great yesterday and with not that many prem defenders could he get back to averaging 100 and at only 430k could be a bargain?

Never sure about Burgoyne. No doubting his silky skills but he's too inconsistent. Remember they didn't have Sewell, Mitchell, Lewis or Rioli yesterday. Alot of Hawks score big before him, but with Hawthorn set to have a ripper year he might step up. Not convinced though.

Manbearpig

He's been an SC gun most years, so he represents value, probably more so than the likes of Birchall and Suckling, who have only been SC guns for one year.

Mozza3

He's one to strongly consider in the next few weeks. Even if he doesn't spend much time in the middle he could be a great rebounder/link-up player like Shaw, Scotland and Newman to name a few.

The only 2 that will score more than him are Mitchell & Franklin. As for the rest, Hodge, Sewell etc I have them on par with burgoyne. He will dish out the same scores as Shaw, deledio, broughton etc, so he is a must have at that price. He tends to score massive against the weaker sides, capt material for when hawks play GWS or GC.

I had him in and out my team a couple times. Reckon he could be good value. But have birchall at the moment

the point isnt that they will steal points from him when they come back in!!! I will lose it if i here someone else say too many good players steal points off each other. The point is when they come in he will probably move back to his defensive role therefore not allowing him to be around the footy and in the play as much lowering his scores. To say Burgoyne is on a par with Hodge is absolutely ridiculous. Hodge avg'd 30 ppg more last year while injured.

burgoyne is on par with hodge with his potential scoring if he moves to the mids more, if he has the same role as last year forget it.

Had a few good years at Port but has burnt me for the last couple of years. He's a no go for me.
