He has his haters, but Ive had him in and out of my team throughout this preseason.
Plenty of people argue that he doesn't get enough of the footy and is inconsistent.
He has certainly burnt me in the past but I think this year will be his year.
Was fantastic last night with 33 possies and 3 behinds that could of quite easily been 3 goals.

Anyone else been tossing him up before last nights game?

T Dog

was looking at him as Brownies replacement

Is surely a big chance to score better than his price - but is he going to be among the top 12 forwards - because that's what he'll need to be to be a good pick.

Currently about the 35th most expensive on the list, but with DPP and a few spuds (IMO - Q Lynch, Westhoff, Higgins, Crameri, Monfries, Schneider ooh ahh Le Cras, and a few more) above him, he is well and truly on my radar.

Plus easy looking early draw.

Could well be an astute pick.

JamSainter

YES! He will be a gun, and if you don't want to keep him all year, you can trade him after 6 or 7 rounds. Coz with an easy draw and a blistering pre-season he will be on fire early then fade imo. But Imo he will make 100K

In my team. Value a plenty with him.

Dangerfield threads were guarunteed to arise after last nights performance. He has hurt many over the last two years, something that comes from people expecting too much from players too early. Much like Dale Thomas, you dont here anyone bag him for being a poor performer anymore, Danger will do the same, just give him time.

number1red

i agree usman, he is a star in the making and with adelaides early run he could well be averaging 100+ after 5-6 rounds

SydneyRox

aarrgghh Usman what are you doing to me????

That arguement makes sense!!! I was one of the biggest Thomas bashers there was before he came good!!

He will need to continue he NAB form before I get too carried away though

Maca24

Exactly. I had him before last nights game but my point is more that maybe he has turned the corner, and can get high numbers.
Lets watch his next game and see if he can have the same influence.
After all, surely this year he will get lots more midfield time = more disposals?

PICCOLLO

It all comes down to midfield time...simple as that.  Probably not going to know unless adelaide make NAB final and play a full strength side.

Big_Cox14

Dangerfield is looking like a potential replacement for Jono Brown.

There a few players auditioning to get into the F5 spot in my final Team and Dangerfield is one.  8)

Disco

He should get more midfield time after the weekends effort.

PowWow

Yeah ive currently got rioli in my side, but if he can keep this kind of form up, im seriously considering rolling with danger and the porps for their easy start to the year!
Plus getting an extra 100k off rioli!
Be interesting to see what happens this week!

demon_spud

He was getting the same kind of points in last years NAB cup, then fell away during the season, hopefully he is on the way up.

Currently doesn't fit into my plans as have the Porp.

fever

been in my team from the get go this year, i'm expecting a much more consistent year
