I am a big fan of forget the byes. Unless it comes down to a choice between 2 players who I predict will score the same then I will look at byes. But if I take someone who is going to ave 10 pts less per round then I will have less points overall than just coping donut

Not caring at all about doughnuts nor the amount of players on the park for that matter. As already stated by many  that's the easiest way to do your head in. The ONLY important factor during the byes are score points. Doesn't matter a damn if you get it with 22 players or just 18, as long as you get it. So guess I'll just pick the very best team possible, with the aim to do about four trades for cash, then bring in a couple of prems ( keepers ) during rds 12 and 13. Doesn't matter which approach you have with the byes it is impossible to anticipate injuries and coaches resting players so why not just relax and plan for the other 20 rounds. Cheers and goodluck to all. ;)
