dont really want a mid priced midfielder in Barlow I was thinking a keeper and starting to think Sloane may lift to a keeper also.

So the idea is start and keep mummy for the season, or save and get west till the round 11 bye is done then upgrade west to cox.

On the other hand, risk barlow or sloane from the start (to afford mummy) or sacrifice mummy to have a boyd or selwood 4th mid?

West could work? He's a great mark, but Mummy and Sloane could be good.

What about Giles as number two and you can get a elite as well?

thought about that not sure i have the nads to risk starting giles, west like you say is a good grab and wiull be the #1 ruck at the cats at least until i trade him out after round 11. just thought he might score well enough to be an option.

thing is mummy + barlow/sloane = ? points

compared to

west + selwood = ? points

i think it would be pretty close so the decision may not make any difference.

Oh and as for jacobs i think he will be a premium ruck this season, the only ruck at adelaide with an easy draw.....

Yeah i considered Jacobs... Well honestly Giles might score as well or maybe a little lower to West. So that's why the riskshould be made. Expect 75-80 from him.

I'd go giles and then get a premium midfielder. As watlez said giles probably won't score much less than west (maybe 10-15 points at maximum) and he is 200k more. As for your 4th mid you can't go wrong with one of boyd, pendles, rocky, murphy, selwood, redden, gibbs, etc
