well id drop grimes and get heppell. He will definately improve slightly all second year players do it is just everyone expects a 20 point ppg increase but all they get is a 5-10 ppg increase except special cases like martin/fyfe
It will cost me 100k? I don't think so. What if Grimes scores a pair of 100's tonight?
We have a difference of opinion. We could be arguing this point all day FARK hahah :P

Well I would prefer that in the nab cup then during the season... that's such a horrible thing to say lol  :o

Melbourne made him skipper. His last injury wasn't soft tissue. He has to be backed in.

Something in my bones tells me Grimes, apart from a few expected niggles, will have a relatively injury-free year.  For a change.

Doesn't suit my back line strategy.

His a very safe option though!  ;)
with all due respect how doesn't he fit your structure? There are shower all decent backs this year plus he has a round 12 bye instead of 13 and heppel is one of a very few who i can't really fault (2nd year blues is a myth). Surely he will improve his avg by 5 or so making him a great choice in a position where good buys are few and far between.
I agree that there aren't many great options in the backline as far as premiums go this year but I have Heath Shaw + Jack Grimes (will be watching closely tonight) and Marty Clarke missing in round 12 from my top 7 backline...
Well unlike you i don't have shaw but i have grimes and clarke missing from my backline in round 12 but there is a decent chance clarke won't be in your backline come round 12 though. (same goes for shaw if he does something stupid again :P)
Fair enough.
This is why Heppell doesn't fit my and Windigo strategy though. Hope I made my point :)
Yeah fair enough i can see how he doesn't fit into your structure now :) at first i thought it was a pricing issue.
