He might well do, but has lost match fitness in that time...

I wouldnt call 40 mins of a nab cup game match fitness. Most teams barely play their guns throughout the nab cup anyway

+1

Teams use the NAB to learn some things about rookies, not get their guns fit. That's what the entire pre-season is for.
Besides, Lids should be back and training before the season starts proper. So he's still a lock IMO.

debunked

FTR Deledio has missed 4 of a possible 154 games since he debuted in 2006, he has played every single richmond game in the last four years (though admittedly he's been able to consistently recover during finals every year too!).  Further am pretty sure the 3 games he misssed in 2006 were from a broken hand/wrist.  conclusion: at worst he's missed one reg season game from soft tissue injury is 6 seasons at the highest level, can't see a 'twinge' holding him back too.  far as draw goes richmond have won what, less than 30%? (yes thats being generous) of our games in the last four years, all years where lids averaged over 100p sc!

Good call, +1.

However, the question remains: Lids vs Shaw - I chose Shaw due to his favourable bye. Pretty sure most would agree, or else they've gone both. Back prems are VERY difficult to come by.

hawki

dont worry about the hammy dude done 3 months of pre season un interuppeted 2 weeks off at this time yr wont harm him.
