NRoo a proven superoach star had one bad year and alot of people have put a line through his name. Is he worth a roll of the dice or is his 100+ days over?
Alternatively Sidebottom is predicted to be on the rise and have a break through season, but is this just pre season chit chat or is it actually going to happen?
Alternatively again.. is zaha that far ahead of them both that hes worth freeing up an extra 40k in my team to secure him?

N roo will bounce back, and cant see Sidebottom averaging a hundred with swan, pendles, thomas etc

it's not chit-chat, bucks has stated that sidearse will get alot more mid time this year, therefore increasing his ppg.

by how much though is anyone's guess.

I think ill stick with roo for now. I think he has more potential to rise above the 100 mark

Tough call but I'd be reluctant to write off a champ after one bad year.

Unlikely to take either.

No doubt NRoo is an out & out champion of the game. BUT - degenerative knee problems & key forwards do not mix. He hasn't lost the talent (elite) & he hasn't lost the drive/determination (elite), but any sportsperson can only do what their bodies allow them to... Pass.

Sidebottom's quality young player who, in most other teams, should be entering the obvious breakout year. BUT - just because he will play more midfield time does not automatically mean he will average more ppg. There are permanent fwds who average more ppg than many permanent mids. Well said earlier that there are many Pies players that will take points off him - think Pendles, Swan, Daisy, Cloke, Shaw, etc. - making it very difficult for him to average the 100ppg you would want from him to term him a fwd keeper... Pass.

Actually think there are better options out there at cheaper prices - players like J. Brown (value), A. Christensen (breakout) - or spend a little extra to get a player like Zaharakis - a gun young player in a mediocre team that is crying out for gun midfielders (unlike Collingwood). Back to Jono Brown - don't forget that it's not his legs failing him (like NRoo), it was his head getting in the way of other peoples legs/bodies last year - which may actually be a blessing indisguise for this year, insomuch as it allowed the rest of his body (eg. his legs) to have a rest last year...

I really cant see that people would put jbrown ahead of ro (appart from the price tag being cheaper) he is now a stand alone forward with clarke and staker not there so he will be double teamed and tripple teamed and this is all considering that he even gets through a season for once. Been injury prone his whole career. His legs might be ok but that doesnt mean he wont be his head infront of a moving truck

Justin Bieber

If this was posted on the DT forum, Sidebottom would of killed in the poll...

You say this about Sidebottom and then say Christensen will have a breakout year. I think it would be just as tough for him as Sidebiottom considering the quality of the Geelong team. Selwood Bartel Kelly, Chapman, Steve Johnson ect. taking all the points.

I agree with Zaha and also to some extent J. Brown but im just not sure how long Brown will last with out getting himself hurt.

we will find out tonight how well NROO will go this season. At this stage i am leaning towards Sidey
