if im reading this thread correct, u are asking would someone pick a rookie who is not named rd.1?  i would think there is no reason why anyone would do that, it would seem illogical.  if they arnt named rd.1 then the next week and the next and so on, how long would you wait for them to get named before u would trade them out?

Thats the question exactly you got it :)

Obviously given the results some will start the injured rookie..... I figure they assume like magner and shiel and treloar and zorko they are all going to play as soon as fit so would you rather a non-scoring rook on your bench for a round or two or would you rather use a trade up....

Option B is my choice but obviously there are a spread of votes.

oh ok,  well yeah i mean you dont know when that player will play, if its 5 weeks then they could just be a downgrade target for the cash cow that is playing

I'm with you it's a big risk starting an injured rookie but wanted peoples thoughts on whether they valued the trade even more ect.... I think if your not named round 1 your not in my team, but if magner and zorko are guaranteed to play round two what to do what to do.....

It's the last bit of ur post thats relivent, which is , if they are guaranteed to play rnd 2, why waste a trade if their in ur plans. But in saying that, GUARANTEED must mean guaranteed. In this game nothing seems guaranteed lol. ( there was a lot of guaranteeds in that post)

+1 Dudge there are no guarantees, the coach can release a press article saying Zorko was almost ready for round one but not quite, he will play round two.... then round two turns up and he says oops i meant round 3....

good point
