i was reading on the heraldsun website that in the melbourne intra club mitch clark played down forward and freed up watts to move up the ground. and apparently killed it

any thoughts on weather neeld will make this move during the season proper cause if so then watts could be in for a ripper year

Hopefully his move up the ground isn't halted by 3 collingwood players this time.   ;)

Could pull up decent scores every now and then watch him next saturday.

he could slot in as my 4th forward if he impresses me

Nick riewoldt, a player who i consider as Jack Watts closest comparison took 4 years to score well and he was/is an absolute gun. that was in DT though, i dare say his SC scores would have been elite in his 3rd year but cant get that information. Watts should be taken into consideration, definately isnt far off a breakout season.

He's not the worst gamble out there but you'd like to hope he'll average 100, can he do it?

fever

i would expect inconsistency and a 90-100pt average.

close this year, but maybe 2013. though i do hope he kills it.

A lot of Melbournesupporters/ SCers are keen. I think for 4th fwd riewoldt is the best option. Last season first poor score in SC history. Think he'll be this years Cox. The good litmus test is cox returned to dominate last per season, if roo (who struggled last nab) scores and moves well he's in for mine
