The kid is good, but how many pure midfielders can Carlton run with?  With the intentions of pushing Gibbs into the guts along with Robinson (and the pre-existing Judd, Murph, Simpson etc)... its getting crowded.

Perhaps a role off a flank is more likely, or even a tagging role.  But I'd imagine his propensity to score will be stunted slightly with the quality that already exists within Carlton.

I'm going to pass this year, but I can definitely see the reasons why someone would be interested in Lucas.
