Ive tried to use all the $$$$

Taken into account Crows & Sydneys 1st few games

I know I have issues with rd 13 bye up front & out the back...willing to gamble that with downgrades of cheapos or injury

Cash cows is all dependant on RD 1 team selections

Have tried to stay away from oldies / interrupted pre seasons & KPP (Franks does get up to the wing a fair bit, especially against the Dons  :P)

I did have the Likes of Swan and Mummy in but the extremely high possiblitly of starting with cheapos on the field that will be lobbed with the green vest...especially early on in the season...has made me try to spend a bit more wisely and not have too many cows

Surely there would be 1 or 2 premium breakouts amongst this mob?

TEAM NAME: Slumlord
DEF: B. Goddard, G. Birchall, C. Yarran, D. Heppell, R. Tambling, M. Clarke, W. Sierakowski (S. Morris, N. Blee)
MID: G. Ablett jnr, J. Selwood, J. Kennedy, J. Ziebell, K. Stevens, S. Clifton (K. Horsely, D. Shiel)
RUC: T. West, J. Giles (J. Redden, O. Stephenson)
FWD: L. Franklin, C. Rioli, R. Gray, L. Adams, M. LeCras, S. Sidebottom, P. Dangerfield (T. Dickson, A. Hall)
CASH LEFT: $1,100

woah, sorry man, really dislike. 4/10

tambling, really? has the past taught us nothing?

heppell is overpriced too imo, though i'm always weary of 2nd year blues. i much prefer burgoyne/fletcher/gilbee as cheaper alternatives

nice uniques in the mids with kennedy and zeibel (who i especially like)

trent west is a train wreck of a first ruck. he'll play, but cant see him ave more than the 76 he did last year.

adams, gray and lecras are all mediocre. prefer downgrading one to a rookie then upgrading another to goodes/fyfe/pav

Yeah Im sure many will disagree with the Bling but by all reports he is training like a frenzied maniac, its a massive risk, he has a new coach (again) and surely wont be given the green vest...Dagger Milburn is doing a lot of work with him....with the Crows start to the season, to get a good jump on overall, I would be happy to take a 100k increase at rd 5 and upgrade him

West or the big O will be girlongs no 1 ruck this year, I have both, west was never intended to be a keeper but with more opportunity his price will increase...with the money Ive saved on rucks Ive invested elsewhere as rucks are given a generous helpout from champion data. Of the cheap rucks...West is really the only 1 guaranteed to play rd 1 IMO

I had Burgoyne & Gilbee last year...not going there ever again (Gilbee was given around 5 weeks out by rocket because of a heartstring)...do your research on Burgoyne especially (I did as I considered him as a back)...Clarko is preserving him to prolong his career...he wont be the player he was 3 years ago again.

As I stated....Fyfe has had no preseason, Goodes is 32, Pav is like 30 or something...Im staying away from oldies & injured pre seasons...I think there is much more potential for improvement in Gray, LeCras & Adams...than Goodes, Pav & Fyfe

Improvement = getting more PPG / $ spent
= L2P

I like a balls out approach!

i wouldn't bother butting it up for rating as you know the pack will never rate it as its to outside the square. Also why i wont put mine up because i know it will be given a 4-5/10 and then told how to improve it - which in turn would make it look like everybody elses.

Generally like it all bar the FWDS

but cudos to you for going left and not right - just back yourself in at lockout  ;)

Midprice mayhem would suit, however I can see why you called the team slumlord...

Unless all the duds break out you'll be caught without cash for upgrades, and way behind the pack.

Tambling is the Relton Roberts who forgot to leave...

upthemaidens

u wont be anywhere near the top with that team,,  it could work well for league though

Why say that?

I have 4 rucks to upgrade (rucks the last 2 years have been favoured by champion data)

Still have 2 cheapos minimum on each line to upgrade?

I did have 4 cheapos on each line (2 cheapos starting in backs, mids, rucks & fwds) The green vest is the killer...most cheapos...not all....but most...will more than likely get a green vest...if youve got a cheapo startin on the field for your team..your taking a big risk scoring a 25 instead of getting a guaranteed starter that is averaging 80, like the players I chose

With the 2 cheapos strategy my team looked like....

DEF: B. Goddard, G. Birchall, A. Carrazzo, D. Heppell, S. Hurn, M. Clarke, W. Sierakowski (S. Morris, N. Blee)
MID: G. Ablett jnr, D. Swan, A. Swallow, J. Selwood, K. Stevens, S. Clifton (K. Horsely, D. Shiel)
RUC: S. Mumford, J. Giles (J. Redden, O. Stephenson)
FWD: L. Franklin, C. Rioli, L. Adams, S. Sidebottom, P. Dangerfield, T. Walsh, B. Smedts (T. Dickson, A. Hall)
CASH LEFT: $16,700

which is better then?

I spose yers gonna say they both crap ::)

(with LeCras going down today I dont know who to replace him with to be bye friendly...so Ive just chucked in Adams for now)

Like this second team.
Def: Uniques choices in Carazzo and Hurn which may or may not pay off- Structure sound.
Mids: Can not fault even current Rookie selections
Rucks: Not a fan of One prem 3 rook strategy but that is just personal. Like the three rooks you have selected though
Forwards: Sound again - Adams may be another unique for you.

rating for second team 8/10
