   barring the old standards, how many club songs from the newer teams are any good?  ports is not good,, freo's is just horrible,, cant remember GC's one

I heard it this morning and I think it is the first decent club song from any club that has joined the VFL/AFL since around the 1950. (I'll exclude Sydney and Brisbane who eventually recycled the songs of their roots).

It was written by the guy from Cat Empire & whilst we may not hear it much in 2012 I reckon it's really good. When you compare it to Adelaide's first songs (here we go Camry Crows), Freo who still aren't comfortable with their pretty shower song (Sorry Valk/Cic but hence the vote last year), the Eagles average song and the GC which is horrible. As for Port, I don't even know it, did they use their old song?

Anyway a good effort I reckon.
