first draft for a footy novice.

Hi all  was after a bit of contructive critisism/maybe praise for my first draft team. bit of a novice so alot of my choices have come from other teams and a few personal favs.

here we go

DEF: B Goddard, B Deledio, D Heppell, D Roberton?, S Docherty, T Mohr, T Bugg, (J Tynan, N Blee)

MID: N Del Santo, Judd, S Mitchell, Barlow, Morabito, D Shiel, (S Kerridge, T Mitchell)

RUCK: Sandi, Leunberger, (J Giles, O Stephensen)

FWD: Franklin, Pav, Chapi, D Martin, Petrie, Porplyzia, Treloar, (Zorko, S Rowe)

Interesting team, quite unique and not too bad for a first draft.

I personally can't see Dal Santo, Judd (who has had shoulder surgery during pre-season) and Mitchell backing up last year's season and feel that they may drop in value a bit, although that's just my opinion and and they're good picks nonetheless. 

There's a fair bit of risk in your team and you've got a lot of players who had great seasons last year and have to do a lot to justify their price this season.

I question how Petrie's scoring will go if McIntosh or Goldstein spends a bit more time resting in the forward line.

I'm not sure how many games Tynan will get during the year.  He's 19, is a little more mature in the body than other rookies and is a versitile players, but I'm not convinced that he'll get games early. 

There's a few of the rookies in your team that I haven't got my head around yet, but I think Morobito (actually a third year player and one of the few must haves this year), Shiel and Mitchell are all great picks.

fairly solid unuqie line-up.

agree with gooner on the mids. get G Ablett, and probably selwood.

get rid of roberton for marty clarke or a rookie.

I think i read somewhere that Davis was injured again, maybe get Grimes in for him if you can.
