Alan Didak will never be a good DT player or a good player on the field ever again.

I know it's a big call but it's what I think.I'm not going to pick him this year and if he does awesome and you guys picked him up then you guys made the better choice. I just don't think Alan Didak will perform this year.

i was dumbfounded by this statement, what makes you think this ?? if he wasn't injured last year i would agree, not having a go by the way just want to see what makes you think this? different opinions are good for my preaseason DTing

Injuries may become a problem in 2012 and beyond. Buckley should look at some younger players so Collingwoods future can develop. He has had one bad season so he really needs to prove himself to make Collingwoods 22. With all Collingwoods forwards he needs to be awesome in the games he gets.

+1 ......seems to be trying to justify his previous opinions that he somehow believed to be facts

Ziplock

to be fair, there are no real facts supporting that he will bounce back, and his points are valid
1. He's on the wrong side of 30
2. His role appears to be slowly turned over to younger players
3. Injuries often reoccur.

like, legit enough arguments.

+1  All we are doing here at this point in time is making assumptions based on what we've seen and experienced before. Nobody really knows what is going to happen with anyone we just assume that the norm will occur. By asking for facts all we will do is alienate people from the conversation. It's only an opinion and we are all entitled to our own just as you/me are entitled to disagree.

Ziplock

I personally think he will bounce back ftr.

I'll be waiting until round 22 before I make a judgement on whether didak is back. Watching his preseason.

Grazz

I hope he does bounce back, he's been good to me but my gut says his body just may be passed it. This is one of the rare times where i'd like to be wrong. If he has a big pre-season and decent Nab cup i will happily choke on my comment.

Oh, so 29 is the wrong side of 30? (He's actually 28 until Feb 15)

Mr.Craig

Bit of a shame it didn't happen later when a bunch of people had been suckered into playing him. Oh well.

Andrew

That just about puts him in the DT coffin for me. It sounds like he's crocked, too many soft-tissue problems in the past 12 months.

What this does to is slightly increase the tempting to pick Sidebottom...

Already have Sidebutt, so hopefully it means more points for him!
