my first crack, unguided by others advice so far. hoping i did alright. main aim is to have plenty of rookies to start with & make a profit later on so i can finish strong with plenty of premium strong players & have cheap rookies on the bench. worked well last year.

Next time either enter it in the fanplanner, print screen it, or just write it out yourself, but that doesnt matter:

I reckon get Goddard in the back, so then in your mids, you have some super premium, who is only a mid.
Try get your DPP links in the rookies if you can.
I dont think having both Shaw and Clarke would work well, but your call on that one.
3 starting rookies in the back will hurt.
Too much money in the mids.
Replace Morabito with Shiel, he is a must have.
Replace Goddard with a super-premium as mentioned before.
Fyfe is injured, you can replace him with Barlow to keep the Freo thing going.
Dont mind the rucks, although would certainly say that replacing Cox OR Mumford with West would free up cash.
I wouldn't pick Falou just yet, wait till NAB.

with fyfe, ill wait until the lockout since i have unlimited trades so i can wait & see for him. i know that having so many rookies can do some harm but im experimenting with having all these cash cows & then upgrading to elite players when the byes come around in the middle of the season. im looking to have a strong team to finish the season/finals by getting most super-elites now & getting the other semi elites then. Goddard is in my back, forgot to update that & i only put shaw in now because in not sure who else to get at this point, he may not stay. i already have deledio, goddard & scotland so theres the top 3 already haha.

He had shoulder surgery at the end of last season and groin surgery just after xmas.

I never like to play people who havn't had a full preseason, they tend to be scratchy at the start of the season,  Fyfe=upgrade target
