As promised :)

Leigh Adams
Position: Forward/Midfield
Price: $416,400

2011 Average: 84.19 from 21 games
2010 Average: 81.53 from 15 games
Career Average: 79.7 from 44 games

Verdict: While on first glance the price for Adams may seem steep, it's worth reflecting on his finish to 2011. Seven out of his final eight games reaped scores of 80+, and Adams always provides solid output in the Tackles and Marks categories. If he spends more time in the midfield in 2012 he could be a sneaky chance at a premium position.

Tom Curran

Position: Forward/Defence
Price: $98,700

2011 Average: N/A
Career Average: N/A

Verdict: Despite the promising key position forward having a bright future, he is currently behind the likes of Drew Petrie and co. for a spot in the forward line. However, keep an eye on him, because when he does break through for his debut he will be a handy cash cow for either your forwards or backs.

Lachlan Hansen
Position: Defence/Forward
Price: $270,900

2011 Average: 54.76 from 17 games
2010 Average: 69.29 from 21 games
Career Average: 59.5 from 66 games

Verdict: Hansen is a case of a player that can be a key component in a win for North Melbourne, but whose stats don't necessarily translate well to Dream Team. For example, his performance against Collingwood in Round 16 - where he shut down Travis Cloke - scored only 59 Dream Team points.

Brent Harvey
Position: Forward/Midfield
Price: $435,700

2011 Average: 88.09 from 22 games
2010 Average: 94.73 from 22 games
Career Average: 81 from 284 games

Verdict: The long time Dream Team lock showed nothing in 2011 to change that opinion. The added flexibility of dual positions plus the rarity of a poor Dream Team game (only one score below 50 in 2011) makes Boomer one of the first players selected in the majority of teams.
