Do you really need them at the start of the season? Cause unlike last year there are only 3 rounds of byes this year. My thoughts are get the best players in each position and trade in a couple of mpp rookies before the bye rounds?

yorgis

probably not as important as last year, but still very handy to have, especially with only the 2 emergencies  and the selection

of so many rookies.

Very handy thing to have thou, i think it becomes increasingly important as the season goes on. True what your saying about no singular bye but still would rather have it

In just thinking with the mids you have a lot of good rookies well hopefully good we'll to wait and see like shiel, clifton, miles, Mitchel, Magner and Horsely. I dont wanna miss out on some hopefully big money makers there by putting in zorko and possibly brown when they can go forward or back and be good cash cows in those positions.

I'm avoiding them this year.

Whilst they're useful in covering the odd doughnut, most of the best scoring forwards and backs had midfield elgibility so if you want to score as highly as possible, it's best to avoid MPP in the midfield.

They will also come in handy this year with the new trading rule.

If you want to trade out a back you can move a MPP the get a new mid or fw
