Hi guys,  have noticed several coaches and critics showing concern that Sandi, Mumford< Stephensen and Giles have the same bye. But there's is an easy way out IF ( bloody biggest word in AFL ) either Roughead or Hale fire up. It requires taking S Rowe as one of the emer  ruckmen and when required due to any bye he is upgraded to whichever for/ruck is better financially and points wise. When the ruck situation clears up the R/F settles back in to the forward line. After spending ( like many coaches )
plenty of time looking at the bye situation I think we are better served picking the players that best score us points wise in the lead up and just cut losses as best we can for the byes. Everyone has them and there is definitely no golden solution or one of our geniuses would have already found it. Hang loose and enjoy, cheers from Sabre.
Looking at Roughie and Hale as possible upgrade trades when the byes occur. Would have to be right price and form at that time.
Gonna pick the very best team availlable for round 1, otherwise by round 11/13 it won't matter about the bye as it will only be best of league, and 2000 to 3000 off the pace on the overall.

Really considering roughy.. However where and what role he plays is another story.. Keep a close eye on him during the Preseason because at that Price he will have to be going well for me to pick him up..
Aaaannnddd they both have byes at the same time.. Seems pointless to have them both to cover byes..
Have you considered pattison and Rowe?

im not sure if roughy will be back by round 1..if he is then he'll continue to improve as a pinch hit ruckman

Rumours im hearing is we will only be required to field 15-18 players in the major byes, havent studied enough yet to see how this will effect the ruck. Hanging for the rules and changes to be released. Then i'll start to get concerened.
