the kid can play  Fanplanner squad in the Super Coach competition coached by pie time. Salary cap left: $66,900.

Brendon Goddard, Brett Deledio, Bryce Gibbs, Paul Duffield, Sam Gilbert, Michael Talia, Phil Davis
Will Sierakowski, Sam Docherty

Scott Pendlebury, Gary Ablett jnr, Dane Swan, Will Hoskin-Elliott, Chad Wingard, Stephen Coniglio
Elliott Kavanagh, Devon Smith

Matthew Leuenberger, Aaron Sandilands
Jarrod Witts, Orren Stephenson

Lance Franklin, Paul Chapman, Cyril Rioli, Jonathan Brown, Jonathan Patton, Ahmed Saad, Alan Didak
Jason Porplyzia, Anthony Morabito

Last 2 spots in backline a worry as well as taking a punt on Didak, only if he has a full pre season.

cptFantasy

I'm liking the uniqueness, and I can see a case for all your selections making their respective 22's, but I'm thinking you may have gone too rookie friendly in the midfield.

Ringo

I think you are taking a huge risk with 5 prems in forward line.  may come off but bear in mind you are paying top rookie prices for Conglio, Wingard, Hoskin Elliott.

Watch the pre season and see how rookies go. There are a couple of players still not listed in FF at this stage Sam Rowe for one as well.

IMO Rioli is also a bit of a risk with his dodgy hammies. Maybe Cloke or Fyfe the better option if you can afford them.

Backs
Honestly I don't think Broughton is worth picking up. With a full range of fit midfielders at the Dockers, Broughton will probably spend his time in the back pocket where he doesn't score very well at all. Martin is an interesting choice, I was all over him at the start of this season as I expected him to have a great season. Unfortunately that didn't happen and he didn't get much game time. Maybe he will under a new coach, but I would probably avoid for now.

Mids
Only concern is your 4 rookies (including McDonald) are all from GWS. I would probably only pick 2 of them then pick some rookies from the other teams. Apart from that you can't go wrong with the prems chosen.

Rucks
Set and forget rucks always good :)

Forwards
Taking the risk on Didak I see, I wouldn't but that's just me. Got some injury concerns with your forwards having Chappy, Rioli and Brown, hopefully they don't all pick up injuries at the same time! I like your pick in Steinberg, killed it in the VFL this year so could be in line for a call up to the Dons senior side.

Overall I like your team, but would look at making just a couple of changes, mainly Broughton and Martin in defense, and maybe get rid of one of Chappy, Rioli and Brown.

Ringo

As usual watch pre season for Rookie performances and then those named for Round 1.

Backs: Take CF's comment with Broughton on Board - Watch how he us used by Lyon in pre season.  Docherty has had hip surgery and may have a delayed start to season so maybe a downgrade target later on.  Think there are better options than Martin.
Mids. Not a fan of Goddard in Midfield and as CF says all rookies from GWS if upgraded by byes fine,
Rucks: Set and forget
Forwards: Risk with Didak that may come off Chappy and Rioli both have dodgy hamstrings so will probably only take 1 of them.

Overall sound team 8.5/10

Patrician

I'm not sold on Gilbert and Lake in the backline. Two players who in the past have done very well but more recently have stank. Sure hope they prove themselves this year, as they would be very cheap.

I also do not like Goddard in the mids. I know it gives you a good B/C link but (and i hate this) the main B/C players seem to be all Round 13 bye ones. There are also a lot of other good mids to put in that spot.

Then what the others said. Didak = meh  ::)

TEAM NAME: the kid can play
DEF: B. Goddard, B. Deledio, C. Enright, J. Adcock, B. Lake, B. Ellis, W. Sierakowski (C. Heath, B. Wilkes)
MID: S. Pendlebury, G. Ablett jnr, D. Swan, S. Coniglio, C. Wingard, S. Clifton (B. McKenzie, E. Kavanagh)
RUC: M. Leuenberger, B. McEvoy (O. Stephenson, J. Witts)
FWD: L. Franklin, S. Johnson, N. Riewoldt, S. Sidebottom, J. Brown, D. Smith, A. Saad (A. Steinberg, T. Walsh)
CASH LEFT: $27,200

I have made a few changes...I have taken into account the byes...Only i week in foward line that i will struggle...I would like to have a b/c in centre to help with swaps with backs..i have 1 f/c swap which is handy... Lake and adcock had injuries last year but prepared to take a risk...From what i see everybody on this website dont trust lake's fitness, but i think the doggies would have traded him if they have doubts..Hopefully the saints kick the ball forward now that they have a coach who likes to score..This should help Roo...Browny well he is due for some luck...keep him a full forward might help this...Might call Vossy to recommend this.. Let me know what you think..Rookies will get assessed during NAB cup..

Hey Pie Time

Overall this squad is quite good really. The structure is solid enough, especially if the likes of Lake and Brown get back to former glories. I think that Adcock is a reasonable pick, I do not share the sentiments of Crowsfan re: Greg Broughton. He has averaged over 90 the last 3 seasons and is their most likely rebounding "vessel" out of defense. Why cause he's generally a great kick - who knows what Lyon will do, one thing's for sure in my mind Broughton will be one they want with the ball in his hands.

Anyway 8/10 solid enough.

Ringo

Backs: Not sold on Enright as a premium back he is 31 years old and his SC scores have been declining since his peak in 2008.  Still averaging over 90 though so your decision but I would pick another at similar value Birchall, Fisher or Heath Shaw.
Mids: Not a fan of the 3/3 Structure given the fact that mids do most scoring would prefer a 4 prem 2 rookie set up but again your decision.
Rucks; Set and forget.
Forwards appreciate your comments on Roo and Brownie but I would take only one just to minimise risk. Again your decision.

I would rate 8/10 mainly due to dual risk with Brownie and Roo

hey pie time

Yeah i quite like this squad overall

Bacs - Lake just must be irrestitable, i'll be on if he looks fit a firing in the NAb - i guess.
Mids - Nice strong selections
Rucs - Cant knock 'em
Fwd - I rate Steele too. Brownie could get 90 sc.

I'll give this 8/10
Good structure, safe stong premiums with very fair mid pricers.
