Which team do you think will debut rookies this year, and which rookies. The obvious ones are the bottom teams, but St. Kilda have a young list and will debut a lot, and as awesome as they are, Geelong are in a rebuilding phase, yet one of the top teams. They will debut a lot of rookies this year. What are your thoughts.

GC - Jackson Allen, Alex Sexton, Henry Schade, Kyal Horesly (if he gets promoted), Piers Flanagan, Alik Magin, Josh Caddy, Aaron Hall

Best DT Picks - Kyal Horesly & Josh Caddy

will be interesting to see what the saints do this year, they probably still believe the window is open for them in which case they wouldnt play too many, but if reality bites em on the ass early this year that could change.New coach & all that who knows. As a follower im thinking they cant beat hawks or blues unless they cop few injuries,if that happen the saints are right in it,so forget the rookies, but they themselves would want to win the first 3 rounds by an average of 9 goals against the power suns & dogs to be any real hope.

What, no GWS?  ;D

Debut rookies is one thing of interest. Giving rookies real game time and not just being the sub is another.

For these, I would look at Geelong (lots of retirements), Brissie, Port and GC (developing teams).

From a Brisbane Perspective
Definite Rookies imo Zorko, Docherty and Bartlett
Maybes Yeo,Longer and Wearden
There are also a couple on the Rookie list that may get games if promoted.

PowerMan

Wingard will def play, maybe not straight away if PA are full strength though, it'd be hard for him to get in that midfield if we are full strength.

Danny Butcher - is listed as a Rookie at the moment, but we have room for 1 more player on the senior list, if he shows form in NAB cup look for him to get the spot.

Jamie Elliot will be an appealing downgrade target.

Daniel Markworth could make the 22. Watch out
