You think your rookies have great scoring potential, but they have to be playing first. Leave any names of rookies you have, if you are concerned whether they will get games or not?

Lee Spurr
Jeremy Cameron
Joshua Bootsma
Jordan Kelly

Thanks i find the defense rookies most hardest to pick

Lee Spurr - I think he will play, playing as a rebounding defender, and taking the spot of Greg Broughton, as the hope to release him into the midfield. Fremantle will reagin a lot of injured players from last year, but not many of the rebounders, such as Broughton, Duffield were injured so there may be a spot for Spurr.
Jeremy Cameron - If Jonathan Patton wasn't injured, then Cameron probably wouldn't play, but know that he is, I think he will be a constant player in the line up for the start of the season, that may score big, as he was touted as a #1 pick.
Joshua Bootsma - I think he will be good, and may sneak in for a few games, but Carlton have a pretty steady line up, and I think only Sam Rowe will force his way in. They have pretty good rebounding defenders in Yarran, Scotland and Duigan
Jordan Kelly - Don't think he will get much of a chance. Hawthorn probably have an even more secue backlne that Carlton, with Suckling, Birchall, Guerra and Gibson all providing run from the back, and players like Liam Shiel and Shane Savage or Chance Batemn providing run on the wings. Might find it hard to get a spot, but keep an eye on NAB Cup performances.

thanks for the above what u think about

Hayden Crozier

Will probably end up be exactly like Daisy Thomas, but I think he would be very lucky to get a game this year. I think a light breeze could blow him over let alone AFL players. Dont think he's one to get.

Ok my forward rookies are

Saad - I'm pretty sure this will change before or during pre season as i doubt he will get games this year - Suitable replacement same price bracket?

Israel Folau- Am certain this guy will get games publicity etc even if he don't score much at least he is playing.

Jeremy Cameron - Reason being he is there second best behind an injured Patton

Hayden Crozier - Going to swap him but ho do you suggest must be in same price range

It's worth noting i have Adam Treloar starting on the bench in the midfield for DPP coverage.

So need replacements for Saad and Crozier who would you suggest to look out for in pre season?

Really appreciate any advice

I think Saad might get ome games early next season, but if you are looking for a replacement around 106k, I would look at Tory Dickson. Mature aged recuit now at the Western Bulldogs, will play a forward role with pinches in the midfield. I think he will play a fair bit, especially early games.

Folau will get games, but I don;t think he will score great. Won;t really be able to tell until NAB Cup games. Might be good, might be bad.

Like I said before, stay away from Crozier. has a frame way to small to play AFL at this point and will get bullied around, but look for him in the next couple of years.

Adam Treloar averaged around 70 DT points in NEAFL last season, but cant tell about his SC score. I would think they would be higher because he has very good skills by hand and foot. Will get 15+ games I would think. Stick with him. I would start him on the bench, as he provides good cover.

Replacements I would suggest are Tory Dickson and Dayne Zorko. Both will get games due to them being older, and being at younger clubs. Any more questions dont hesitate to ask.

Instead of Bootsma and Kelly, I would look at Steven Morris, Luke Brown, Jackson Allen, Sam Docherty, Paul Bower, Tim Mohr, Beau Wilkes, Josh Tynan, and there is probably a few more.

Mohr GWS def

Docherty BRS mid/def
