Hi all, this is the 1st team I have ever posted for a rate.....in previous years my strategy has been all out guns and rookies finishing in the top 3k 4 out of 5 yrs. I have never finished in the top 1000 and that's my goal this year. This year I feel there are many solid selections and much room for quality upgrades (rucks for starters  :P) Please rate I appreciate your opinions.

While I appreciate your strategy I think you will suffer by not having a premium ruck from Round 1. You have to ask the question is will my rookie rucks each average 100 points.  Whilst one may become the Zac Smith of 2012 I doubt if 2 will.
Also bear in mind some of the prem rucks may be increasing in value as well.

Forward line is a bit week as well without Franklin or Fyfe.  Also consider Hawkins a hit and miss forward who may cause you some concern.

Strong Midfield

Sam Docherty has had Hip surgery and may miss the first few games of the season as well.

Quote from lions "Draftee Sam Docherty has just had hip surgery but is not expected to miss too much time. "

Note also you have no DPP to mids if you wish to use this year,

Thanks Ringo taken what you said on board and I do agree with your arguments. So I have made some slight alterations - here is the new look.

Nice Team now.

Not sure whether you want the flexibility of  a Dual Position Player.  If so you need to consider that especially in forward line and mids. My Strategy is to have Prem DPP's in Backs and Forwards and then have 2 rookies with DPP enabling me to switch prems as required. eg at The Moment you have Goddard Deledio and Burgoyne who are classed as B/C but you do not have a C/B in mids to allow a switch of say Goddard to centre.

Slick5

Hmm Think the forward line is still a bit weak, Hawkins is too hot and cold and can you rely on Winderlich and Clark each week? Gunston? Porplyzia's shoulders?

Prefer a Dustin Martin or Pavlich up there.

Midfield looks awesome, would prefer a prem rookie over Mcarthy though.

Slick5 and Ringo thank you for the feedback very much appreciate it....I do agree the forward line is weak so replaced hawkins with boomer... theoretically early games against both GWS and GC could mean an sc explosion added bonus of playing them twice.

In the early part of the sc season not to concerned about the mpp flexibility early,  rounds 5-6 when suspensions and concussions take effect i will then consider mpp more shrewdly. Part of the plan is to move goddard and delidio through the midfield to complete and find 2 other backman having stand out seasons. If that fails boyd and swallow etc would get the gig.

The players coming back from injury are a concern - injured early im screwed otherwise could pay dividends. Martin and Pav are definitely on the radar as well as a few others.
