In case you have not read the article.  Seems a little harsh that once you have been banned for 15 games during you career an automatic life ban under automatic de registration.

Whilst I do not condone thuggery and the like it is still not hard to get 15 games suspension if you play the game over 20 years,  I think Dazza is a bit hard done by on this one.

Hmmm, interesting situation. But he knew the rule (hopefully) and is paying the consequences.

i was never suspended but even still its easy to pickup 1 week here or there so i sympathize with the guy he was a freak footballer and certainly not a dirty player so the rule probably needs to be detailed and worded a little more carefully

like, he's been playing footy for like 25 years or something... thats less than a match a year.

HOLY SMOKES, Shaw's almost there already after last season, should I a pies fan be worried ? or is it just AFL NT rule?

and yeah in all seriousness you can, without malice pick up multiple game suspensions for incidents that look bad and a handful of those almost gets you to the 15, if this guy wasnt a monster than i feel for him too.

Think it is only a rule for NT. Dazz has been playing the game at Senior Level for 18 years and was not a dirty player.  His appeal is being heard in the next few weeks.
