Capper

so 3 months before the season started he has a calf strain.

not really worth worrying about i think

As long as Brian follows these simple steps...

He might squeeze in  ;)

Do many people actaully think Lake will be back as a DT gun ?
Yer he was injured last year but he is getting older and im not confident he will average as well as he did

doesnt have to average as much as he did.  at his price i'll be happy with 20 games at 70 odd avg.

chaosAD

What's your thoughts on this ?

DT-SC

really depends what rookie, clarke could average similar, morris wont average heaps but should have decent JS, ellis could average well if richmond want to use his kick to rebound, smedts is worth a look, mohr will have good GS but mightnt average over 70...the list goes on but if this is for a 4th or 5th defence spot i would go lake

Speculator

Lake for me. His JS would be 100% if fit. And his ceiling average would exceed all those rookies by at least 15/20 points

Grazz

Probably Lake for me to, Nab cup will confirm it i hope.

I think other issues aswell as Lakes health conspired for a poor season. He had a few issues off the ground that i hope is sorted and he can get back in 2012 and play some good footy. Wouldnt be to concerned about a calf strain at this stage.
