Wait for the rules on byes and plan your team based on your gut and then adjust when rules are known.  Keep hearing rumours round 11 - 13 for overall may be just 15 - 18 players and Leagues suspended for the three weeks.  Sounds like a good compromise if correct.

That means the overal highest weekly score won't be in Roun 11 to 13 with 18 players (unlikely anway).

Hey TF.

Backs - Goddard, Gibbs and Deledio all good options can't go wrong there. Burgoyne and Lake both unique both have upside and downside. I like the pick of Lake as his position did not change just his form through injuries, while Burgoyne's actual role did change. Depending on Pre-season, Lake should be a good pick however the roles Burgoyne nows plays are too up in the air for me. Like the picks of Docherty and Ellis as they both have great kicks and both playing attacking styles off of half back. Tomlinson should play a lot for GWS as a KPP, and even though they usually take time, he could earn you some coin early on, but could also be very inconsistent. For me Tomas Bugg, is not the best option of remaining defenders as i don't see him getting a lot of games at GWS seeing as he mainly plays in the midfield and GWS have chosen to stock up heavily there.

Midfield - Once again Pendles, Ablett and Selwood all great picks, Mundy is cheap for what he can produce so thats a huge tick. Marty Clarke, well i think there are better options especially seeing as he is a C only. He may get games but will be playing as a back and not midfielder. Kavanagh is a good pick he is one of the best disposers out of the rookies and even though he has had hamstring problems, he should fit into the Essendon midfield nicely. Shiel is very similar to David Swallow in his ability and i think will have a very similar season in terms of fantasy. Clay Smith is a very hard at it midfielder and is also a good unique pick, he should get games under the new coaching regime, watch pre-season.

Rucks - Goldstein could be once again a good pick up, i just worry that with McIntosh back in the picture he could play more time forward in a rotation plan, and with his starting price being so high it could result in a fair drop through the season. Sandilands is always a good pick, and even though he has had foot problems over the last few years he is still very good fantasy wise. Giles and Orren both great, cheap, mature aged rucks.

Forwards - Franklin and Fyfe should again be the prominent forwards in SC, so both are good picks. Chapman i see as playing a greater role forward and after seeing him play that last year closer to the end of the year i saw him drift in and out of games, therefore i don't think at his current price his warrants a starting selection. Crameri, i am currently very interested in, he plays a different role to a lot of forwards and his accuracy with kicking and amount of goals he kicks makes him a good SC choice. Brown and Porps both coming off injuries, apparently both having ripper pre-seasons, my advice is to watch pre-season scores. Walsh, Saad and Zorko all good picks for rookies.
