yeah, I'm going to take a look at it after my shower this morning. If it looks badish, I'll see if I can make an appointment with the doc for today/ monday. If it looks okish, I'll just leave it.

or maybe just make an appointment for monday, just in case... :P

^ 10 bucks says you won't cut it off.

I ended up cancelling the doctors appointment. Basically I've been taking a knife to it every day and flicking out the toenail (gross, I know), but it seems to be working- keeps the nail from digging in and causing infection... I'll have to do it for a while probably, until the nail is longer, but s'all good :)

thanks for asking grazz

Mate Id rather have to do that every day than let it get serious. Good to hear you are getting better Zippy :D

That is good news mate. They say if you cut a V in the front of the toenail as far back as you can it releases the pressure from the sides over a period of a few days, i know people that do it constantly to avoid the dreaded ingrown toenail and swear by it. Might be worth a shot.

I hope that's a different knife than the one you use to cut your sandwiches.

Do the same to mine... Just have to be careful as they tend to end up digging back in again after a while :-X
