Personally I don't get into the Irish series at all. Do you guys?

i love it, i think the international rules, would be my favourite sport if it was a real sport. Takes the best of afl and Gaelic and puts them together.
My thoughts exactly. The fights are pretty cool as well.

thats the one thing i dont like, when the aussies go a bit too over the top, e.g that coathanger. You have to rememeber gaelic doesnt have tackles so even playing within the rules its hard on them. Also they arent professionals so if they get injured they cant just go to their club and be paid to sit in the sidelines all year.

Can you tell which team i support in the international series?

I agree Holzman. The fights are a diagrace. Definitely not 'cool'.

Haha, it's killer for the Aussies as they can't tackle. Agree it frustrates them!

I watch the International series as it's interesting and usually fast paced at times (like the AFL but where they can also kick the ball of the ground easier). The goals are great though, especially as you can use any part of the body to get them into the back of the net.

wait i thought you could tackle, you just cant take them to the ground.

I play AFL 9s and there is no tackling in that, really annoys me when some  guy smaller than me runs past me and i can only tap him and he gets the kick away, as opposed to crunching him.

Can't be bothered either but thanks Mails. You are allowed to bump them but can't remember about tackling as it has been a year :P. I have a bad memory so you're probably right Holz.

where abouts do u play 9s Holz?? I love 9s its bloody good and in normal footy I'm a CHF/ruckman who uses my body alot and my tackle count is usually pretty high, but 9s is good coz u dont get tackled and u can still kinda use ur body in marking contests. Kinda good coz all the hits I get during the season dont get aggrevated during the off season
u can then crunch a little guy when u get back to normal footy haha
