basically need some help with rookies this year, haven't really done enough research with the GWS defenders yet. If anyone could shed some light about them it would be appreciated.

B: Goddard, Scotland, Deledio, Merrett, Heppell, Spurr, Golds, (Hunter, Lynch)
C: Ablett, Swan, Murphy, Rockliff, Wingard, D Smith, (B Mckenzie, Crozier)
R: Leuenberger, Giles, (Stephenson, S Rowe)
F: Beams, Martin, Robinson, Hurley, Varcoe, T Adams, T Milera, (A Kenneddy, Ah Chee)

I have absolutely no idea or reputable opinion, but thougth i'd give ya some feedback none the less.

No one really knows with rookies yet, gotta watch the NAB cup with interest to source that info.

Heppell is an interesting one, was the cash cow/regular last year, really don't see him being able to take his game further in his 2nd year a la fyfe or dusty martin - to me, doesn't have that balls out grunt or x factor (yet).

Mids is ok... a bit iffy down the line, probs a good idea to get McDonald from GWS, bottom barrel price, ex melbourne skipper - is an old fart, but will play and will rise, near 100ppg ave for 2010.

will your 2nd ruck even play?

and you fwd line... beams? robinson? hurley? varcoe? all medium high priced, not much upside... definitely want buddy franklin!

Pretty sure Giles played every game for GWS last season for them, I'm fairly confident he'll be the 2nd ruck for GWS in 2012, and he was ex team mate with Brogan at Port Adelaide.

Forgot about McDonald, worth some thought for sure.

on Franklin, I might take a risk early on with him, he has a fairly tough 1st 5 games, Col (h), Gee (a), Ade (h), WCE (a), SYD (A) @ tassie.
