Any draw for Port is a bad one, especially the way we've been travelling lately.

Good:
We have a bye.
2 Showdowns (So we can beat those Crows again!)

Bad:
Gold Coast at Metricon (rd 9)
Hawthorn twice
Geelong at Simonds Stadium (I assume that's the old Skilled Stadium)
Freo twice (Will hurt if Ross brings them up the top again)
GWS in Rd 19 away (The way that people are talking about the competitiveness of GWS this'll most likely be their first chance of a win) [And just to add to that, why is their name in all CAPS and everyone else's in lower case ???]

Interesting:
Collingwood are playing us in Melbourne, but at Etihad Stadium (Rd 4)
Only the one game in Darwin :( (I liked those games) (Rd 17)
A trip to Tassie. (Rd 20)

Teams we play twice:
Freo
Richmond
Hawthorn
Essendon
Adelaide

Ziplock

....

you know it's bad for port when they're complaining about their draw being too hard with GC and GWS....

Shocking draw! They only play a team that finished below them ONCE ;)

But no, not a great draw.

McRooster

Why would a team who needs the Corporate dollar more than most not be given a single Friday night game when the attraction of Corporate dollar is at it's peak  :o

Carlton, (who in recent times has used their extra dollars to spend on it's players  ;)) still is given 7 Friday night games and two round beginning Thursady night games - does Juddy need that extra coin for Bec's bling or did Demetriou not actually understand what Kernahan had asked for, well who can understand Stix anyway??

Port have been bent over. >:(

PowerBug

I never noticed that McRoost. I thought it was mandatory for the AFL to give every team a Friday night home match?? Or at least a Friday night match??

PB. Brisbane does not have a Friday Night game either . Suppose the sweetener for us though is our traditional Easter Thursday blockbuster and this year Carlton.

Bit hard to do the Lions when they have to go up against the Cowboys, Broncos, Titans, & if the new one comes in @ Ipswich.

Just pointing out that it is not same for all clubs.  As you know in QLD League dominates Friday night (Can not wait for next year Friday night AFL live on free to air) so that is possibly the reason.  Personally in Qld love the Saturday Night games and usually attend all.
