Clever comment by Harvey.

He has now effectively set himself up for the two outcomes

- If Freo have a succesful year, it was because of his coaching prior

- If Freo have a bad year, it was because he was sacked.

I am disappointed that Harvey got sacked. He had a hard time with all those injuries so it's sad. :(

I dont think so.  All our injuries meant we got to get games in to players who might not have got games, thus giving them an idea of what AFL football is all about.  If these depth players get a game this year they have a lot better understanding of what is required of them.

i think we should be aiming for the four but surely am i jumping the gun to expect this to happen in 2012

When someone says "window opens...." they mean that for the next couple of years they think they are a chance of winning the premiership.  I think we are a chance next year and the next few years.
